Hola mi gente, somos los líderes del día Itzel, Sara, y Joseph, bienvenidos a nuestro blog de nuevo.
Today we woke everybody up later than usual, instead of 7:00am we woke up at 8:00am. So, most of us got a well deserved rest after hard days of work 😌😌. We woke everybody up pretty sweetly with a sweet cherry treat🍒.
After everybody was ready for the day, we headed to breakfast at 9:00am and had:(fruit, mangu, huevo, jamón, queso, cereal, and pancakes) To drink we had our usual options (guava strawberry juice, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate). After breakfast, we headed to the gazebo at 10:00am for our self reflection of our trip. During the reflection we reviewed on our performance both as a team and as individuals when working on our CAP projects. We were also able to think about our experience on this trip and the impact it will have on our lives.

After our discussion, we had our free time which consisted of: (playing soccer, playing dominoes, resting and playing in the playground and the game room. After our free time, we headed to lunch at 12:30pm, where we ate: rice and beans, pork chops, and salad. We also had mango juice to drink and water. After we we finished eating, our bus driver Milito came to pick us up and we headed to the Constanza sign where we took a many pictures on the sign and captured the beautiful view. It was difficult to take a picture without our hairs being in the way of our faces since the wind was blowing hard (we almost flew away).

After, we headed to the park where we had a lot of fun playing a Dominican hand game called “El Gallo”. Other glimpsers played Uno or enjoyed the beautiful view.
At 4:00pm we went to Bernardo‘s restaurant where we danced Bachata, merengue and salsa and while we were there, they gave us some guava juice and some delicious cookies.

After that, we headed towards the ice cream stand,”Helado Bon”. For the second time in a row there was no ice cream and only coffee flavor ice cream. We found this suprising because how is it possible there is no ice cream at an ice cream shop. After facing this big disappointment, we headed to another ice cream shop where they actually had ice cream and we finally ended with an delicious treats .

After we finish our ice cream, we headed back to the bus where we headed back to the villa with a good laugh as our bus driver, not only added to our headcount, but also accidentally missed our turn as we were dying of laughter. Once we reached our villa, we enjoyed our dinner of hotdogs with minced meat, cheese, corn, and fries and guava strawberry juice to drink 😋. After dinner, we headed to the gazebo for our nightly meeting where we summarized the day and said goodbye to our leadership status as we passed the torch to the new leaders for tomorrow, Williamson and Jeremiah, we showed their talents. Teaching us some new Mexican slang and taught us about how our clothes is made and gave us fun facts about fashion one of them being that polyester is made out of chemicals. and then Jeremiah showed us his mad basketball skills and he definitely did not eat (missing seven shots.) big love though cause he still got a shot in even while using a volleyball and in the dark. After this, they took over the nightly meeting in which we had a lot of fun, lot of laugh and a lot of heartwarming responses. We also got to read some of your comments, which was very beautiful we appreciate you guys for reading our blog every night and keeping tabs on us. We love you. we hope to see you guys soon and. Have a good night sleep sleep or morning if you’re reading messages in the morning, we love you and we’re excited to see you in a few days. Big love to you guys. Greetings from Brussels! So sorry there was NO ice cream AND coffee ice cream. Sometimes we have to settle. Thanks for the detailed blog. The clapping game looks like fun and the costanza sign is amazing. Perfect photo op. Maybe we will blog our trip too. Love to see your smiles, Marly!
