Para siempre

Hello family & friends, today Elizabeth and Avery are leaders of the day.

We woke up at 5 am before wake up call, and we set the table. Then, we started waking everyone up. Afterwards we had cereal and fruit for breakfast. After breakfast, we had a seminar and played a game where everyone was turned around and there were 3 to 2 people in the center and depending on the prompt we would tap on a person’s shoulder if it described them. To understand what good qualities we each have that other people see in us. Next we then made a circle on the floor, we each got a paper and wrote our names on it we would then pass it around, and then we went in a circle writing what traits we thought  one another had on each paper.

After lunch we were able to have a final reflection survey. Once that was done, everyone had the ability to call home and check in with their families since tomorrow is the last day still together as a big group. After that was done, we had free time for a while where people were able to talk and some were able to take a nap.

After free time we went out to town in order to buy souvenirs. We checked out one place before pausing to get a small ice cream break (I got tamarind). We then found another place which seemed to have more souvenirs and people were able to buy a bunch of stuff for friends and family. Next to the shop there was a fro-yo place where people were also able to buy and we relaxed at the park while people waited their turns.

We came back from shopping at 5 and people started getting ready for the night out. Then, at around 6:45, the safari bus came to pick us up. We all hopped on the bus and got off at Pizza & Pepperoni. Once we arrived people took photos with one another and started talking with each other and making one another laugh. We then got back around 8 o’clock and we had a meeting where tears were almost shed, then people broke off to hangout with each other.

The flight will be United Airlines, flight UA620, which arrives at 6:03 pm at Newark International Airport
