Once you participate in the Global Glimpse program, you are officially invited to join our dynamic alumni community, currently thousands strong and growing. Through this alumni community, you will receive support from our dedicated team, including access to prestigious scholarships, fellowships, internships, and job opportunities at both Global Glimpse and companies and programs with whom we partner. You will also have the opportunity to stay connected with fellow Glimpsers from your trip and become mentors to younger students in the program.

Alumni Impact
Global Glimpse prepares students to handle the challenges of life after high school. Our alumni stay connected by presenting at college and career summits, sharing their stories, and mentoring younger students. We partner with companies to connect alumni with scholarships, fellowships, internships, and job opportunities. Alumni actively engage through Leadership Councils, travel as Global Glimpse Leaders, participate in our internship program, and some even join our team.

Students return from their international travel experience to begin their senior year in high school with a renewed drive to make a difference in their local communities. Our comprehensive follow-on program, consisting of four dynamic summits, equips alumni with the tools and skills needed to step into leadership roles within their schools, all while preparing them for the journey towards higher education and rewarding careers.

Cohort Building & Public Speaking
Ambassadors practice their public speaking and prepare to mentor the next generation of students at their school/org and begin building relationships with peers in their region who also participated in the international travel program with GG.

Mentorship, Storytelling, & Facilitation
Ambassadors prepare to mentor the cohort of Glimpsers at their schools by practicing their own facilitation and learning how storytelling can be a powerful tool for social change.

College & Career Day
Ambassadors interview panels of alumni in college or in their careers. Ambassadors learn about how to navigate the transition to life in college, how to build a resume, and other important professional skills.

Life After High School
Ambassadors celebrate their accomplishments, learn about opportunities in adulthood, and develop a plan to carry the GG spirit forward during the transition to the next stage of their lives.
Snap Global Office Hours
Each year, alumni have the opportunity to participate in a virtual career mentorship program available only to Global Glimpse alumni during their first few years after graduating high school.
Accepted students attend five interactive 2-hour sessions to network with each other and the employees of our partner Snap Inc. (makers of Snapchat) from their various offices around the world. Students also receive a stipend. Applications open each winter!
Alumni Summer Internship
Alumni aged 18-22 join the Global Glimpse team for a paid, remote, part-time internship June through August. Interns help launch new Global Glimpse initiatives, support essential summer operations, and receive professional and personal development.
Interns receive a stipend, a round-trip flight certificate, and 1-on-1 mentorship with GG staff members. Applications open each spring!
