Day 10: Closing reflection Day
Student Trip Blog
Today we woke up early at 5:30 AM. We travelled by the bus for about 4 hours to a meeting with Reginald Kerolle. On the bus ride, we all talked with each other, playing some games and bonding with others. After the long trip we got to Puerto Plata where we met with Reginald Kerolle.
After, we went to get lunch and then we got to the hotel to get ready to go to the beach.
At the beach, we enjoyed the ocean, the sand, the sun, and calls to home. Everyone was so happy to hear from their families again. On the beach, the water was so clear that we could see fishes. Some people took many pictures and others were racing in the ocean!
After the beach, we were able to enjoy the pool at our hotel. In the pool, some people played volleyball and others just enjoyed the water and talked. We were able to see the beautiful view of mountains and oceans from our hotel.
After the pool, we showered and took pictures of the sunset.
We waited for dinner. While waiting, we danced bachata from Romeo Santos and some talked. Then, we were able to have dinner. Some people ate hamburgers, some ate wings, some had salad, and one person had fish. To conclude the evening, we had the nightly meeting. During the nightly meeting, we dicussed our day and heard some new talent! Helen taught us how to count from 1 to 10 in Cantonese and Dylan sang multiple songs from Hamilton very well. It was a beautiful evening and a very fun day!

OMGGGG it seems like you all had lots of fun!! Lowkey kinda jealous yall were able to go to the beach on Day 5 and not Day 8 but hey the views look beautiful. Hope you’re doing well Sean, your mami texted me on Tiktok and I was shaking in my boots! Streaks are doing better they are finally behaving themselves and BRO I made it to 108 days in 99 nights in the forest with Shayan!!! When you get back we gotta get to 150!
