June 22nd, 2025 was our Final Reflection. As a group we went over a few questions about our trip and one of the activities was getting in a big circle with 14/21 of the students facing the outside and 7/21 were in the circle and asked general questions and had to tap the shoulder of the person it resonated to, and that was fun for all of us. Another example, one of the reflection questions was to name a person that made an impact on our life while we were in Chitre. Many people had different answers, but each person had been acknowledged and or complimented. We all learned something about ourselves and others, and now that this trip is over, we have established relationships with each other that we hope to last a long time.
Today was a short day for us because we packed to leave, and we had our final meal at the hotel, it was chicken and pasta. We ate, laughed and loaded the buses to travel to Panama City. From people singing songs in the back of the bus to playing games, it was a blast! It truly made the five hour bus ride go by fast and made last minute memories that will stick with us forever! We made it to the hotel that we are staying at for the night in Panama City. We have safely checked in, and our night ended off with an American classic BURGER. For us, that was a great way to end our meals.
Our last big loves, pluses and wishes and hugs were fantastic. We ended our night just how we started this trip, in the same hotel and with the same people. FYI, Having the experience to be a leader today was amazing and a great opportunity to lead the group. Being a Leader gave everybody the opportunity to use our voices out loud, take charge and embrace the skills we have learned along the way.
We want to thank everyone who we interacted with. We want to thank everyone who contributed to us getting to Chitre, Panama. We appreciate all of us leaving in one piece with more memories and stories to tell to the people we meet in the future, including each other.
With that being said… CH2A Class of 2026 Signing out!!!!!!
