Welcoming Global Glimpse to Costa Rica: A Beautiful JOURNEY

There’s something truly special about first moments—first steps in a new country, first smiles between new friends, and the first deep breath of warm tropical air. That’s exactly what we witnessed as we welcomed the Global Glimpse students to Costa Rica.

From the moment they arrived, the energy was full of curiosity, excitement, and a little nervousness—just the right mix for an unforgettable journey. As a Program Leader, I was proud to greet them and share the spirit of pura vida. We talked, laughed, and quickly began to build a sense of community.

This group arrived not just ready to explore, but to learn—with open hearts and minds. And from the very first day, it was clear: they weren’t just here to see a new place, they were here to grow in it.

We can’t wait to see all the moments, challenges, and discoveries that will unfold in the days to come. Costa Rica welcomes them with open arms!
