Memo:
Hola, my name is Guillermo, but you can call me Memo…it’s easier to “memo”-rize.
I’m gonna be one of your PC here in the most beautiful country in the world, k.a. Costa Rica.
I’ve been a professional guide for 17 years here in Costa Rica and other countries in Central America.
I studied Eco-Tourism at the University of Costa Rica. I’ve done different activities like naturalist guide, rappel and zipline, history, MTB, horseback riding, and sometimes city tour guide. Thanks to my job I’d have the chance to know my country better and to really appreciate what we have here, and that makes me feel so proud that I want to share it with the whole world.
I was born and raised in Turrialba and lived in Aquiares for 7 years with my beloved family and my 7 dogs and 2 cats.
I really enjoy my job; I like hikes (especially with my daughter and my 7 dogs). I like all types of animals and playing video games, I like drawing and painting and love MTB.
I can’t wait to meet you and introduce you to my family (along with my 6 dogs and the 2 cats) and share with you a little bit of my beautiful community and my country… the most beautiful country in the world!
Pura Vida and see you soon.
Memo
Luz:
Hello everyone!
My name is Luzania Hernandez but you can call me Luz, I grew up in a small town in Guápiles in Limón, called Cariari.
In a big family full of many uncles, aunts, cousins, and brothers, we are very close.
I continue studying English with an emphasis on tourism at the INA (National Learning Institute).
This is my first experience in Global Glimpse; I am very excited to learn a lot.
I have been a volunteer since 2008 in different very wonderful projects in many parts of my country and Central America.
I really enjoy spending time with my family and with my close group of friends we walk a lot through small towns (we travel to rural places); I love coffee, online games, and reading.
I hope you all have a wonderful summer, I can’t wait to see you.
Luz.
