They made it! They arrived safe in Costa Rica!

Today was challenging—not many managed to sleep during the flight. But despite the fatigue and nerves, we had a successful day! We traveled to San Rafael, Turrialba, where our home base is located. We met the house staff, enjoyed Julián’s delicious cooking, and settled into our room groups.

In the afternoon, after some rest and a tour of the facilities (the home base has breathtaking views!), we focused on learning all the essential information to ensure we have a fun and safe program. 🙂

We also had time for some fun, playing cards, tag, and other games.

We closed the day with a delicious pasta dinner and a reflection on everything we experienced. We’re more than ready to get some rest and enjoy tomorrow’s adventures!
