Welcome to Constanza!

Hello everyone! We had a lovely and jam packed first day. The students and GGLs landed in Santiago at 12:30 and were met by their PCs, Julia and Nacho. After stuffing all the luggage on the bus, we enjoyed the scenic 2 hour drive to Constanza.

Constanza is a lovely city surrounded by mountains located in the middle of the DR. The weather is fantastic, nice and cool at night with beautiful sunny days. It is the agricultural capital of the country and where most produce comes from. Our villa neighbors a gorgeous farm with some noisy cows and gorgeous horses.

After arriving to the villa, we played some icebreakers and had some much needed relaxation. We then had our first meal in the villa and enjoyed getting to know each other. After finishing phone calls home, we had our first nightly meeting where we introduced the leaders of the day for tomorrow! Now, we are all very sleepy and will rest up for our exciting day tomorrow.
