Day 10: Closing reflection Day

🌞 Hello from Constanza, Dominican Republic! 🇩🇴
Today was our first full day of this amazing adventure, and it was a great one!
We woke up early, had breakfast, and started our trip to Constanza, a beautiful mountain town. The ride was long but full of excitement.
When we got to the hotel, everyone was really happy! It’s a beautiful place surrounded by nature. The glimpsers got their room keys and settled into their cozy villas. They had some time to explore and get ready for lunch.
For lunch, we enjoyed some yummy Dominican food—so tasty!
In the afternoon, we had our welcome seminar, and we talked about safety and group rules. Everyone signed our group contract, promising to work together and support each other during this trip.
Then we went on a City tour of Constanza! We learned a lot about the town, its people, and its culture. It was super interesting.
After the tour, we had a little free time back at the hotel to relax.
Later, we had our LDD (Leader of the Day) seminar. Each glimpsers chose a day when they will lead the group—everyone was excited to take on this challenge! 🥳
Dinner was delicious—we had pasta and more, and everyone left full and happy.
We finished the day with our Nightly Meeting, where we shared our thoughts about the day. Our first Leaders of the Day helped lead the meeting, and they did a great job! The group is already showing such great energy and teamwork.
After the meeting, some students went to bed, and others stayed up a bit to play games and talk. Now everyone is in their villas, getting rest and feeling excited for tomorrow’s activities.

Hello Glimpsers , you look happy! The best is yet to come. I know you miss your electronic devices now, but just think some of us parents never had that luxury and we turned out fine! Talk to each other and enjoy the experience! Oh Casey, if you are wondering if we’re doing any fun things without you… no we are absolutely not enjoying this Fremont weather and the garbage man finally ran eating pizza and getting Divinia ready to go back to college without you!
