dAY 1- We made it to Panama!!

Hello family and friends! We hope you’re doing well.

It’s Nadine & Larry again, checking in from the beautiful Central American Country of Panama!

Today was quite the adventure! Our group arrived safe and sound! Everyone is excited for this trip where we get to experience a new culture, learn new things, and grow. 

A huge shoutout to our incredible Global Glimpse Leaders (GGLs), Safat and Harpreet—your leadership and understanding of this program are truly inspiring. We couldn’t have navigated today without you.

Once we arrived at the hotel. We enjoyed a relaxed dinner—some chicken, rice, and salad. We also took some time to introduce the amazing program we’ll be diving into over the next 10 days. We also got the opportunity to learn about the Leader of the Day (LDD) seminar- preparing ourselves to be LDD during this trip.

For tonight, everyone is already in their rooms getting some rest and recharging for tomorrow. We have lots of great things to explore, learn, and experience as it will be our first full day in this beautiful country.

A special thank-you to our amazing Program Manager, Leydianis, who has been working behind the scenes to make all of this possible—you’ll see her in some of the pictures, too!

Starting tomorrow, our wonderful GG Leaders and Glimpsers will be taking over this blog, as they will be posting daily to share with all of you our reflections and stories, as a group. Feel free to leave comments—we read them to the students on a daily basis. They will love to hear from you!
