Vamos a Panama

Hi Glimpsers and Families,

My name is Tess Hinchman and I’m one of your GG leaders this summer. I am so excited to meet you all and embark on this adventure together. During the school year, I am a Special Education Teacher at Williamsburg Prep. This is my second year leading a GG trip. Global Glimpse is one of the most magical experiences I’ve had as an educator and I could not be more excited about what this summer has in store for us!

I joined GG this year because travel has changed my own life. So far, I have traveled to twenty-one countries including Vietnam, Colombia, and Austria. I have also lived in both Madrid, Spain and Valparaíso, Chile. The people and places I’ve meet while traveling have left an indelible mark on me. I have never been to Panama before so I can’t wait to experience this new place with all of you.

When I’m not teaching or traveling, I love to run, annoy my cat, and try new recipes. I’m passionate about snacks and will be trying all the Panamanian snacks I can get my hands on. I also love music and games. Don’t worry- I’ll bring the speaker and the Uno cards.
