Unveiling the Curtains

Hey there! My name is Josiah Francis. But to make things easier, you can call me Cisco. I am a proud Monarch of Mount Eden High in Hayward, California, and I aspire to become one of the few glimpsers of our school. Nothing makes me happier than achieving great results and making progress every day. That screams that I love writing, working out, and polishing my skills in various sports, board games, and video games, of course. But outside of that, I also enjoy listening to music, particularly that of Mac DeMarco and Vacations. I honestly cannot wait to meet new people and make new friends on this upcoming trip to Turrialba. I am also eager to witness and experience Costa Rican culture and to learn something new about diversity and nationality-driven perspectives. Not to mention my curiosity about the country’s cuisine. Nevertheless, in this trip, I aim to bring improvements, an improvement that will be beneficial not only to the wildlife and people we are helping but also to my peers along the way.

“The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon.”Christopher McCandless
