Travel to San Jose, reflection & evaluation

Bueno, bueno this is the last report from Costa Rica.

The glimpsers started at 4:30am… Believe it or not, Jorge offered them a walk to a nearby view point and a few of them joined him. They observed different species of the local resident birds.

After breakfast we had the mental warm up and the closing reflection. Feelings and emotions were shared, hugs and even tears came along.

Activities such as the map were done to allow them to visualize some of the things they remember the most about this trip. Some made drawings about their highlights and others very detail oriented map of activities and places visited during this last 10 days. Also they did tap the shoulder were they had to tap the shoulder of someone who… and they were given several prompts, like tap the shoulder of someone who had inspired you.

We had lunch at Casa Aracari, and said our goodbyes to Diego and Nela, got ready to leave and on the way back to San Jose, we stopped for souvenirs at Cartago, the old Capital of Costa Rica, some glimpsers went inside the most important catholic church of the country dedicated to the Virgen of the Angels.

We came back to a beautiful sunset at the Four Points went to dinner and went to the supermarket to get some things they needed one last time before going to bed.

We have to be up at 2:00 am, to be heading to the airport at 3:00 am. We are going to bed soon. You will see your loved ones tomorrow.
