Sam B Intro- Hello!

Hello everyone! My name is Sam. I go to Da Vinci Communications, and my favorite subjects are English and History (ask any history teacher I’ve had, they genuinely have to ask me to stop raising my hand). My favorite historical events to learn about are the Titanic, the Donner Party, WWI, and WWII.

I love to doodle and I will probably bring a sketchbook on the trip (unless I forget bc lowkey I’m very forgetful). I also like to journal so maybe I’ll be scribbling away in my journal too. My favorite artist is TV girl and I’m hoping to get my sisters I-pod battery fixed so I can play some Sufjan Stevens, TV Girl, Faye Webster, Clairo and maybe some Mac Demarco on the trip.

I am an avid movie watcher, but I think I like TV shows more (ask me anything about It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia or New Girl because I LOVE those shows).

I’m really excited to go on this trip, not only because I get to meet a ton of new people, but also to gain a global perspective and interact with a whole new culture. I’m always excited to gain new experiences so this trip should be really awesome for me. I’m especially interested in the CAP and seeing what we’ll do to have a direct impact in the community!
