salvando a las tortugas parte tres

Hello friends and family, this is Gianna, David, and Crystal your Leaders of the Day. Today our wake up time was 6:00 am with breakfast beginning at 7:00 am. We all enjoyed eggs, toast, oatmeal, fruit, and lemonade. We boarded the bus and headed to Playa Venao. Everyone was excited because it was the last day of our Community Action Project with Save the Turtles. We arrived at 9:30 am and since we finished the wall yesterday the 2 groups continued to work on the nursery and clean the turtle egg baskets. We all worked well, we did become a little fatigued, as well as distracted because we were able to call home, calling our family helped us find our rhythm and end strongly. Alexandra, one of the coordinators of Save the Turtles, interviewed a few of the Glimpsers on their experience with Save the Turtles. We then went to lunch at Wao and ate delicious food. After lunch we took a trip to the waterfall in the jungle next to Playa Venao. We took a long trail and in the end found monkeys and beautiful fresh water that the Glimpsers had a chance to swim in and enjoy. We made our way back to the hotel and got ready to finish our day with a special dinner at Punto Coffee. They welcomed us and made sure we were well fed. We even enjoyed dessert. We had another amazing day!

Hi ma this is gianna. Hoy yo fui leader del dia y estabamos trabajando en la playa porque era el ultimo dia de el community action project. The food was good and we got to go to a cascada para difrutar despues de todo ese trabajo que hicimos. I miss you guys and i cant wait until you pick me up from the airport. Espero que tengan un plato lleno de comida para mi. I love you guys bye.

Hola ma y pa, hoy eramos los lideres del dia y pasamos la mañana trabajando en la playa venao para el proyecto Save The Turtles. Despues fuimos al almuerzo y a la cascada que les mencione que ibamos a ir. Los extraño mucho y la comida de mami. Love you guys so much and can’t wait to see you guys.
