I want to congratulate the 2025 1B delegation to Constanza, Dominican Republic—you did it! I’ve cherished each day watching your unique leadership styles shine. Today, you wrapped up this incredible journey with a 2 AM wake-up and the emotional (and logistical!) challenge of migrating back to the U.S.
A piece of our hearts will always belong to our host families and Doña Altagracia, whose home we helped build from the ground up. We cooked, danced, played, laughed, and worked side by side with this beautiful community. We created art, appreciated it, and expanded our minds through deep and meaningful seminars. We met firefighters, artists, and—most importantly—connected with the true essence of the añejo (land).
Constanza: The Land of Strawberries. The Switzerland of the Caribbean. Valle Encantado. The Breadbasket of the Dominican Republic. So many names, but each one reflects the magic we experienced.
As you continue to reflect on this journey, I urge you to hold tight to what you’ve learned—about community, humility, and yourselves. This is just the beginning. 🌿🌎

Hey Mr. Alx, this is a beautiful note and reflection! I just wanted to send you a quick shout out as I think it is always moving when a GGL or PC writes a reflection blog like this showing gratitude for the group and experience and motivation for the Glimpsers in their future. This is leadership at its finest and I tip my cap to you for giving the students such an awesome example.
