Nursing With the Turtles

Today, we were split up into new groups to get to know each other better. One group was building the wall to protect the baby turtle eggs, another was cleaning the beach and grabbing rocks, and the last group was sifting the sand inside the nursery. Each group rotated to a new spot after 30 mins of working while taking water and snack breaks when needed.

Then, around 12:30, we went to get a well-needed break and meal in after working so hard. This time we went to a new spot and we had white rice, beans, stew chicken, and some salad. It was muy delicious but then it started to rain so we waited it out then we got on the bus to go back to work.

After getting back to beach, we vigorously got back to work in THE RAIN. As we proceeded to wrap up we were told that we were the first group to finish the nursery in the three days that we had. After we finished our hard work day, we proceeded to pack up and get ready for a meditation session with our CAP leader, Alexandria. We wrapped that up and headed on our way back to our hotel in Las Tablas, Panama.

We got back to the hotel and everyone went to go shower because it REEKED!!!!! Then, we got to dinner with our precious cooks who blew us away yet again today with white rice, shredded beef, and salad. But that’s not all – after thanking our amazing cooks our GG Leader Meyleen treated us to ice cream. We’re so grateful for her. We wrapped up the night with out nightly meeting and our letter of appreciation to our Global Glimpse supporters. NIGHT NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!

Jadalize: MOMMY I MISS YOU SO MUCH!!! I’ve learned so much about myself and also have made the best connections with the most AMAZING people. CHENZIE I MISS YOU TOO!!!! But jes I LOVE YOU GUYSSS!!

Jojo: HIII Mami having so much fun we should come back when we got the money pleaseeee. but hope all is well and my baby doing good and is healthy.

Dasan: Wsg mom hope your not missing me too much can’t wait to see you and Nyx let everyone know I miss them and love them a lot. But I’m having a lot of fun so don’t be worrying too much I’ll tell you all about what happened and what I’ve seen and ate plus I’m going to a beach tmr so I know your jealous see you later.
