HELLO! My name is Yasleen Galindo and I attend Amundsen High School in Chicago IL.
I am looking forward to meeting EVERYONE on this trip! I am interested in learning about the culture in DR, while helping serve the community. This trip goes beyond exploring culture; it also gives us the opportunity to answer: who am I? Maybe from this trip, we can learn many aspects of ourselves, like our strengths in leadership and communication skills or social bonding. The opportunities are limitless, and it’s our job to seize them!
