Natalie’s Intro!

Hey everyone! My name is Natalie and I am from San Francisco. I currently attend George Washington High School. At first glance, I feel as if I may seem quiet and shy. However once the shell is broken, I become an extremely talkative person. Despite being so talkative, I tend to struggle to find the best way to start conversations, so feel free to come up to chat with me!!

When I am not overwhelmed by school, I enjoy baking! I enjoy making chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes, and cake rolls. Combining all sorts of ingredients to create a scrumptious dessert is incredibly satisfying to me. These baked goods usually land its way into the hands of family and friends and seeing the happiness on their faces while eating it makes me even more delighted.

Besides baking, I love traveling! These last 2 years I’ve been able to go to China, Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Malaysia! Being able to witness and learn the culture of each country has been an incredible experience. My favorite thing about traveling would be trying out the specialty foods of each country. As a picky person, I’ve learned that it is always better to leave my comfort zone to experience something new. These experiences have not only led me to enjoy lots of new food but also beg my parents to bring me back to that country haha.

During this trip, I hope to learn how to navigate more on my own (as it is my first time traveling alone). I also hope to form new friendships and try new foods all while learning about a new culture! Looking forward to meeting everybody!
