Ms. Texin, GGL

Hi, I’m Ms. Texin (she/her) and I’m so excited to embark on this journey with you all! I teach math and schedule at Kenwood Academy and spend my weekends taking advantage of all the variety Chicago has to offer. I love teaching, students, and travelling, so this is going to be incredible. I’ve been in Chicago for 10 years, but I grew up in small town South Carolina with parents who’ve never been more than a few hours from the house. I was fortunate enough to study abroad in college and I fell in love with the eye-opening experiences that come with travel. I have made it a priority since and so far I’ve been to over 30 countries on 5 continents, most recently visiting Ecuador this June. Whether this is your first trip, or one among many, it’s going to be fantastic to get to know each other and see Panama together.

Hi Ms. Texin, glad to know there is a Chicagoan in the group. Your experience is massive. That’s a lot of traveling you’ve done. Say hello to the group and especially my niece Kayleanne. I will continue to watch for more posts from you or your group.

By the way, I love South Carolina. I’ve visited Hilton Head on several occasions and love to golf ⛳️ at the RBC golf course.

Anyway, enjoy yourselves and please be safe. Again, say hello to Kayleanne (Kaylee)
