Hey CH2C! My name is Elisabeth, and I’m so excited to be one of your Global Glimpse Leaders for our Panama adventure! I’m a proud Bay Area native, Salvadoran and Mexican, and I’ve spent nearly 15 years working alongside youth through leadership, community-building, and youth empowerment programs. I believe some of life’s greatest lessons happen outside the classroom, and I’m incredibly grateful that we get to experience one together. This will be my first Global Glimpse trip, and I truly can’t wait to learn, grow, and explore alongside all of you.
A little about me—I love bringing people together over good food and meaningful conversations, dancing whenever I get the chance, riding bikes/scooters, spending time in nature, and hiking with my dog, Luna. I love hearing people’s stories and learning about the traditions, music, and everyday moments that make each community unique. One of the things I’m most excited about is experiencing Panama through the people we’ll meet, the families who welcome us, and the memories we’ll create together. My hope is that each of you shows up with an open mind, a curious heart, and the courage to step outside your comfort zone. I have a feeling this trip is going to challenge us, inspire us, and stay with us long after we return home. I can’t wait to meet you all!
