Meet Your Program Coordinators: Your Partners in Adventure! 

Hey everyone!

We’re so excited to meet each of you and kick off what we know will be an unforgettable adventure! This summer, we’ll be your Program Coordinators, and we can’t wait to learn, laugh, explore, and grow alongside you. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be there to support you, challenge you, cheer you on, and help make this experience one you’ll remember for years to come.

Now, let us introduce ourselves!

I’m Paco Romero, a graphic designer who’s always chasing the next creative adventure. Whether it’s photography, 3D art, music, illustration, or pretty much anything creative, I’m all in!

For the past seven years, I’ve also been teaching English at private institutions and universities in my hometown of Riobamba, Ecuador. Teaching has become one of my greatest passions, and I love connecting with people through language and culture.

In 2020, I packed my bags and headed to Malta to pursue one of my biggest dreams: living in Europe while studying English. The pandemic had other plans and cut that adventure short, but every challenge brings a new opportunity! In 2021, I started a master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, which helped me become an even better educator.

When I’m not teaching, I’ve had the chance to work as an interpreter with KOICA, a Korean international cooperation agency, helping bridge cultures and languages. I’ve also been lucky enough to be part of Global Glimpse since  2018. Then, in 2024, I had my first Global Glimpse experience in Panama—and I loved it so much that I’m back for a third time!

And I’m Yadariselt Romano! I’m a proud New Yorker who has been calling Panama home for the past three years. After graduating from college, I joined the Peace Corps, and that experience has shaped so much of who I am today. It deepened my love for service, cultural exchange, and building meaningful connections with people from different backgrounds.

Fun fact: I am actually a theatre kid! I attended a performing arts high school in NYC! This is my very first summer as a Global Glimpse Program Coordinator, and I couldn’t be more excited to share this experience with all of you!

Together, we’re committed to creating a fun, supportive, and unforgettable experience where you’ll feel welcomed, challenged, inspired, and encouraged to step outside your comfort zone. We can’t wait to get to know you, share lots of laughs, create incredible memories, and begin this adventure together.
