Liz introduction

Hello everyone! My name is Lizbeth Rojas. I attend Lighthouse Community Charter School, which is located in Oakland, California, in Alameda County. This year, I will be a senior, and I am excited for this new journey. I enjoy swimming and I’ve been on a swim team for four years, which led me to become a certified lifeguard. I am a person who enjoys learning and trying new things that will help me grow personally, academically, and professionally. I love animals. I have a dog, and his name is Snoopy. He is very playful but also loves to sleep a lot. I was a part of a program where we got to train animal shelter dogs in order to find their forever homes. I am very excited to have the opportunity to go to Costa Rica. I think this opportunity will help me build confidence, learn to collaborate with others, gain new skills, and learn about a new culture.
