LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN

Welcome LT2C!
Maykeld and Laura here! We are thrilled to welcome this amazing group from Massachusetts. We’re confident that the journey ahead will be full of growth, connection, and meaningful learning.

Today, our students arrived safely at Tocumen International Airport and made their way to Hotel Ojos del Río in Panama City. We kicked off the evening with a well-deserved dinner of burgers and fries, and after a long day of travel, we settled in for a good night’s rest with lights out at 11:00 p.m.

Tomorrow, we’ll be visiting the Panama Canal — one of the country’s most iconic and historic landmarks. After that, we’ll head to Las Tablas, the town that will become our home for the majority of the program.

This blog will be a space for students to reflect on their experiences, share what they’re learning, and keep family and friends updated along the way. Starting on Day 3, our student Leaders of the Day (LDDs) will take over the blog and provide personal insights, daily highlights, and thoughtful reflections.

We can’t wait to see how LT2C grows together during this unforgettable experience. Let the journey begin!
