Day 10: Closing reflection Day

A great big hello to family and friends of our Glimpsers! It’s Mr. Jay and Ms. Cat, the GG Leaders checking in after our first full day in Panama.
Our day started off Ojos de Rio Hotel with a breakfast of eggs, sausages, and french toast. There was very tasty hot chocolate and porridge as well. Following breakfast, the fast growing friends took a bus ride to the Panama Canal and watched an IMAX documentary about its significance. We were lucky enough to catch a huge container ship navigating the Canal.
We took a 4 hour bus ride southwest to our permanent accomodations in Las Tablas. Students had some downtime to get settled into their rooms and continue bonding with roommates.
After a hotel dinner, we had 2 seminars covering Lider del dia, and Welcome/Accomodation. Our first leaders of the day (Rayan and David) showed their talents by singing in French and performing card tricks.
The students are really beginning to make friends and share with each other. We are enjoying having them on this wonderful learning experience.
