LAST DAY IN THE DR! :(((

Ke lo ke! (What’s Up) We’re the last leaders of the C2C-LA DR trip, Madysennnnn and Santanaaaaa! Welcome to the Flog (Final Blog)! This morning we had our last breakfast all together with the exception of getting packed and ready for our long journey to Santiago. As sad as the departure was, all good things must come to an end. After breakfast we did some final reflection activities to close out our trip as a group and complete this journey on a good note. Finally after some big love we gathered our things and left for Santiago. While the bus ride was long, the songs, the laughs, and the love all made up for it. We arrived for a hearty pizza dinner and a beautiful sunset at the Monumento a los Heros de la Restauracion (Monument to the Heroes of the Restoration). As the sun dimmed, so did our time in the DR. Tonight, we lay our heads on the pillows awaiting the early flight at 6 AM and the moment we get to see all of our families once more. 

Families! Madysen and Santana would like you to know that our plane from the DR to Newark leaves at 6 AM (DR time). Students will be receiving their phones at the airport so please await their contact! We will be in Newark for a 4 hour layover before arriving at LAX at 5:30 PM (LA TIME) to United Terminal 7 so please be on time so our GGLs can get home as well!

(Santana) Hello Mother, I hope you are doing well and everything is going well. Gonna see you in like a few hours so I wont say much but make sure deany is a weenie, and sammy is a slammer, I love you, I’ll see you soon. 

(Madysen) Hi Mama, Papa, and Q2! I’ve had an amazing trip and I’m so grateful that you guys have supported me this far. Thank you for guiding me to be the person I am today and the leader I am. Soon, I’ll be able to see your smiling faces and show you all the love I’ve been dying to give you. I love you all so much. Thank you for being the best family Madypoo could have. I can’t wait to see you.
