Today was our last CAP day, it was a fun eye opening experience. We started our day as usual, with a wake up call at 6:30 followed wuth breakfast at 7:30. Breakfast was a breakfast burrito made with gallo pinto, eggs, and cheese! It was good fuel for our CAP day to come!
We started our final CAP experience around 8:30, as we walked to the bus stops we were assigned to clean and paint. We were eager to jump right into it! As group leaders of today, we assigned each person a number to seperate them into groups, depending on how many bus stops we were assigned to clean. While cleaning the bus stops it allowed us to connect as a group on a deeper level. We each got a specific tasks to do, but it did not stop one anoher from helping the people around us. We painted with brushes, we painted with our hands and overall had a great experience with our CAP.
In the afternoon, we had a lot of downtime, but of course the first thing we did was shower after our CAP. We were able to make our final calls home, play card games like UNO and Go Fish, have a movie night, and of course get henna from Kelcy! With today being our last day at the basehouse, it was a good way to end this experience.

What a fun way to spruce up the bus stops! Sounds like a nice day. I’m sure she of you are ready to head home and some probably wish you had more time there. Such a great opportunity for all of you to be part of as teenagers! Hope the travel goes smoothly.
