Last day

Today we had the pleasures of sharing our last, delectable meal with our amazing chef Diego. He made our favorite sausages, rice, fruit like always, and beans. We deeply appreciate him for his kindness and tasteful introductions to Costa Rican cuisine. Every last one of us will miss him dearly.

After our incredible meal we began our last and final seminar, where we reflected on our experiences as a whole, along with all the connections we made along the way. We then moved on to big love, this time writing on a piece of individualized paper our appreciations for one another. The last activity of the morning was one of deep reflection. We set goals titled “start, stop, and continue” where we all wrote and shared goals we’d like to take home with us and commit to.

Before leaving our accomodations, we shared our final meal with Diego and said our goodbyes to the home we made along the way. After taking cute pictures around the accomodations and with each other, first ensuring we gave Diego our parting gift, we packed onto the bus and made our way towards the hotel.

The scenic bus ride here went smoothly. We all settled into the hotel pretty quickly, then made our way towards diner at a nice restaurant. We had our last night meeting it was lit.
