Hi everyone. My name is Damien Johnson and I am one of the trip leaders going to the Dominican Republic with you on July 8th. Here’s a little bit about me: I’m an ELA teacher at West Springfield HS; I LOVE to travel at home and abroad (I’ve been to Asia, Africa, Europe, Central and South America, and Australia… but I’ve never been to the DR!). I also love to hike, camp, kayak, dive, climb mountains, grow food and cook, and in the winter, snowboard in Vermont and New Hampshire. I’m super excited to meet everyone and to embark on this journey together, and I’m especially looking forward to our project at the end of the week!
