Izabela Rutkowski

Hi everyone! I’m Izabela and I’m on the trip to Turrialba this summer at the beginning of August. My favorite color is green and my favorite food is pasta. I enjoy reading, baking/cooking, and being creative. I love to see new places and meet new people. I also really like nature and learning about it, so going to Costa Rica is even more exciting.

In three words I would describe myself as passionate, caring, and loud. I hope to use my voice and passion to advocate for others and change both now and in my future career. This is probably why my favorite school subjects are ELA, Government, and Environmental Science. I like to challenge myself academically so during the school year I’m super busy almost always at my extracurricular activities, doing schoolwork, or spending time with my favorite people. During the summer I spend most of my time outside at a Girl Scout summer camp; I’m on staff this summer! This year will be my 13th year as a Girl Scout and my ninth year going to CBB (the camp I go to). It’s wild how much time I’ve spent at camp and as a Girl Scout. I love to interact with people and understand new perspectives which is why Global Glimpse feels like a good fit for me. I can’t wait to meet everyone and see Turriabla!
