Hello Glimpsers!
My name is Rosemarie Oppedisano, but you can call me Rose. I am excited to be on this amazing adventure to Panama with you. I wanted to take a minute to share with you a little bit about myself.

I am currently 47 years old and use pronouns she/her. I grew up in Springfield, Ma but have traveled extensively and have also lived in Miami, Florida, Denver, Colorado, and Santa Fe, New Mexico. I am a math teacher at Springfield Central High School with 17 years of teaching experience in middle and high school. I have Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Miami in Film Production and Theater and a Master’s degree in Teaching and Learning Mathematics from Nova Southeastern University. I am passionate about hiking, traveling, and dancing to live music.
Though this is my first Global Glimpse trip, I have a lot of experience traveling both as a student and as a leader of students. I was a foreign exchange student in high school, spending a semester of my junior year living and studying in Italy. As an adult, I spent four years as a leader of an outdoor education program at a school in Miami taking students on hiking adventures all throughout the United States and Western Canada.
I am thrilled to be traveling with you this summer! Check your email for a zoom link to our trip meeting Monday, June 23rd at 5:00 when we can get to know each other better!
Rose
