Hello Glimpser!
My name is Zach Jones and I will be one of your two Global Glimpse Leaders! This will be my first year traveling with Global Glimpse and I am very excited to get started. I have been teaching history at Freedom High School in Oakley, California for the past two years and taught previously at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara while completing my Masters of Education. Over the past few months I have also been stepping in as the new Activities Director and Leadership teacher at Freedom, helping plan and run school events like dances and rallies. Before studying to become a teacher I majored in Economics and Political Science at UC Santa Barbara. When I’m not in the classroom I enjoy reading, going to SF Giants and San Jose Sharks games, and solo travel. My travels have taken me to Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Austria, and the Czech Republic. I am excited to meet and learn more about you all!
