Introduction: Rahsaan Romain (GGL)

Hello Glimpsers!

My name is Rahsaan Romain, and I am a teacher at The Urban Assembly School for Applied Math and Science in the Bronx. As one of your two amazing Global Glimpse Leaders, I wanted to tell you a little about myself before our trip.

I am 48 years old, use the pronouns he/him/his, and currently live in Middletown, New York. I have been a high school teacher for twenty-four years and specialize in English Language Arts. I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and am working towards obtaining an additional license in Special Education. I am a huge fan of reading and creative writing. I write a small independent comic book series, and wrote a book last year which I am looking to publish in the near future.

I will be reaching out to many of you very soon to learn a bit about each of you. This is my first trip with Global Glimpse, so I am extremely excited to share this experience with you. Hopefully this will be wonderfully memorable for you all and expand your perspective on people, places, and cultures.
