Day 9: CAP Day 3

Hi Everyone, my name is Julian. I’m from Marin County and I’m 17 years old. My family is from Guatemala. I’m very excited to go on this trip and meet all of you. I love to travel, and my number one goal in life is to visit every country. I like to swim, backpack, kayak, and spend lots of time with my family. I enjoy visiting aquariums and loved the ones in Japan! I love looking at art pieces even though I’m not the best at drawing. I also have a dog named Maggie. I would say I’m very shy, but once you get to know me, I stop being shy. Many people say I’m a funny person, so I hope that’s true. I make a lot of inside jokes. I chose Panama because this whole summer I’ve been busy with my internship, and it was the latest trip out of all of them. I believe everything happens for a reason, so I’m happy with my choice. I also enjoy all types of weather, so I’m excited that it might be a mix of rain and sunshine in Panama once we arrive. I hope to try the many different tropical fruits in Chitré, as well as learn about the Panamanian culture there. I also hope to practice my Spanish, although I’m a native speaker, I am forgetting some words. Besides that, I hope to get to know everyone a little more on this trip, and I’m excited for all of the experiences and memories that we’ll have!
