Hi everyone!
My name is Kristen Laczkowski, and I’m so excited to be one of your Global Glimpse leaders! I teach English as a Second Language (ESL) at Western Middle School in Greenwich, Connecticut, where I have the privilege of working with students from all over the world. Every day, I get to see how much we can learn from one another by sharing our cultures, experiences, and perspectives.
What excites me most about Global Glimpse is that this journey isn’t just about traveling to a new country—it’s about discovering more about ourselves. When we step outside of our comfort zones, experience a different culture, and see the world through a new lens, we often learn just as much about who we are as we do about the place we’re visiting. We’ll be challenged, inspired, and hopefully return home with a greater appreciation for the world and a better understanding of ourselves.
Outside of school, I love traveling, spending time with my family and friends, relaxing at the beach, and exploring new places. I also have a French Bulldog named Stella who keeps me laughing every day!
I can’t wait to meet each of you, hear your stories, and share this incredible adventure together. Let’s be curious, open-minded, and supportive of one another as we grow—not only as travelers, but as leaders and as people.
