Introduction: David Lopez (GGL)

Hello Glimpsers!

My name is David Lopez, and I’m excited to be one of your Global Glimpse Leaders for our upcoming DR trip! I’m a psychology graduate from Cal State LA, and I currently work as the Counselor Liaison at Da Vinci Science High School. I’m also heading back to school myself soon—with the goal of becoming a full-time high school counselor.

Supporting students and helping them grow is a huge passion of mine, and I love guiding my students to life changing experience that I wish I was able to experience as a student. I’m thrilled to be part of your Global Glimpse journey!

When I’m not working, you can usually find me exploring new places. I’ve been lucky enough to travel to South Korea, Japan, Italy, Singapore, and Mexico, and I love learning about different cultures and especially trying the cuisine. I’m also a big fan of capturing life’s best moments—whether it’s through photography, videography, or just a really well-timed selfie. And when I’m not behind the camera, I love giving back to the community and being part of something bigger than myself.

This will be my first Global Glimpse trip, and I’m really looking forward to getting to know all of you and sharing this incredible experience together. Come ready to learn and grow on this trip together and lets make some fun memories!
