¡Hola Global Glimpsers!
My name is Mardochée Sylvestre, and I’m thrilled to be one of your Global Glimpse Leaders for our upcoming journey! I cannot wait to embark on this unforgettable experience alongside all of you.
This will be my second trip with Global Glimpse, and I’m excited for you all to experience the joy of this program. I’m no stranger to international travel. I’ve been fortunate to explore places like London, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Jamaica and Costa Rica. I was drawn to Global Glimpse because of the deep intention and purpose behind the program. I believe this trip will be meaningful, powerful, and possibly even life-changing for all of us.
When I’m not packing bags or planning trips, I work as a College and Career Counselor at Springfield Honors Academy. Outside of work, I’m a big fan of both sports and the arts. I love catching live jazz shows, collecting vinyl records, singing, playing guitar and sometimes piano, and soaking up the joy of creative expression. Depending on the season, you can find me roller-skating in the summer and snowboarding in the winter—always chasing fun and new adventures.
I’m excited to live in the moment with you all, take in the beauty of the Dominican Republic, and grow together through this shared experience. I will be reaching out in the next few weeks to learn a little about you all as well before we leave.
