Hello readers!
My name is Ian Michael Enriquez. I am a school counselor from Lincoln High School in San Francisco. I have gone on one Global Glimpse trip to Nicaragua back in 2011 and it definitely changed my life.

I am 52 and have been working at Lincoln since 2002. I started off in the Wellness Center before pivoting to working on youth leadership programs throughout the district. Now I am the school counselor for 430 students with IEPs and/or those with family names starting with M. I have my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as School Counseling. I have lived in Quezon City, Philippines and London, England. Got my college degree from Oberlin College in Ohio. Now I run a dance company in San Francisco and spend my free time playing boardgames and competing in the Activate Global League.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone in person on my second ever Global Glimpse trip. The only reason I have not gone sooner is that I wanted other teachers at my site to have this wonderful experience.
Be open to new things and be kind to each other.
