INTRO: GGL Fatima D

Hey Glimpers & Loved Ones!

My name is Fatima Deen. I am a Biology teacher at PPAS in NYC; I am one of your GGLs and this is my 2nd year traveling with Global Glimpse. I’m so excited to travel with you all and this year we are heading to Turrialba, Costa Rica on Monday August 11th at the crack of dawn (~8am). As it’s my 2nd time traveling with GG, I’m more comfortable with what to expect and would be happy to share so you all feel more at ease as you leave home.

Before our trip, I spent the month of July south in Alabama (it’s where my mom’s family is from, Go Bulldogs!) and even went to New Orleans for the first time! My gosh it was hot but I think it prepped me for what we’ll experience in about 3 weeks lol…I tend to be light hearted and my aim is to make sure you all are as comfortable as possible during our trip. I typically travel a lot both during the summer and the year so being able to support you while you all are away from your families is important and I hope to add that perspective for you if needed.

We are T-minus 20 days from our trip. We, Danielle & myself, will be reading out to you and your families soon just to check in & go over some last minute details.
