Day 10 – Final Reflection

Hello everyone!! My name is Akemi Collymore. I am rising senior at Professional Performing Arts High School (PPAS), im also a dance major and train within the Ailey program connected to PPAS. Im from and currently live in Brooklyn New York with my family. For the past 7 years I have been a competitive dancer, competing at many different regionals with my dance company known as Kim Jay Dance Company. I enjoy dancing very much as well as spending quality time with my friends and family and listening to music. My favorite artist are Drake, Future and Partynextdoor.I also love traveling and being introduced and exposed to new places.
I am very excited for my Global Glimpse trip to the Dominican Republic as well as the opportunity to learn and be exposed to the culture and traditions out there. I can’t wait to meet my Global Glimpse leaders and grow a good bond with them as well as my fellow global glimpse partners.
