Welcome Glimpsers!
My name is Cat Leogrande and I am so excited to be a leader on our wonderful trip to Panama this summer. I am a teacher at Waterbury, CT (southwestern CT) Adult Education, a Grade 9-12 high school diploma program. Before the trip I wanted to let you know a little bit about myself.
I became a teacher as a 2nd career after owning my own small business for 18 years. I have been a teacher for 25 years both in middle school and high school. I have a Master’s degree in Education with concentration in History. I love to read and travel. So far I have been to 49 states (ask me which is the only state I haven’t been to) as well as 23 countries. My goal is to travel the world!
Teaching and learning are my passions. I learn new things every single day and am looking forward to meeting, connecting and learning with you in a few weeks!
