Hello,
This is Nathan, Infinity, and Annie. Today, we started the day off with a very emotional final seminar. We sat together after breakfast for 2-3 hours talking, reflecting, and laughing about our past 10 days together, and how it was coming to an end in less then 48 hours. So slow but so fast. Althought it took some time for all of us to connect, we built a family here. In the photo above, you can see all of us writing a “stop” reflection poster, something we individually wanted to stop doing when we returned to become a better person and leader. We also did a poster for “start” and things we wanted to “continue”.
Another activity we did during our final reflection seminar was one where we had the oppurtunity to draw a journey map of our trip as a whole. We had 4 questions to answer and we could draw them out or just write words. It was a nice, emotional change of pace to have the option to draw out how we felt about our trip and ourselves as leaders.
These were out last few moments at lunch and at Hotel Esperanza. They hosted us for the majority of our trip and we are very grateful and thankful for their kind, loving, and caring hospitality. For lunch we ate chicken of some kind, with rice of some kind lol, paired with 2 different choices of panamanian salad’s.
We then boarded the bus to embark on a 6-hour long journey from Chitre to Panama City. During the bus ride, Infinity & Annie slept a lot. We stopped at the Panamanian national gas station VA&VEN to get snacks and drinks. AFTER we got LITTTTTT. We were dancing, jumping, and singing on the bus. And eventually we arrived to Panama City.
Anyways, we had a very tiring but fun day. We all wish Infinity and Juana a happy happy birthday. The pictures above show our amazing party and good vibes. And also this will be the last blog to come from CH1A, so thats why theres a lot of photos. We shall return soon, unless our plane flies down into the ocean. #JusJokes. But we all got super close, and we had a good time. We miss our families and friends. So we shall see you all at 8pm at SFO 🙂 . Mucho Amor

This is a great final blog CH1A crew. I can feel the energy, excitement, but I really appreciate you sharing so much gratitude for your hosts in Panama and also shared some of the reflection that you group did. I’d encourage you to continue to process the experience over the next few weeks when you return and try to figure out how you can incorporate some of your experiences/learnings from the trip into your day-to-day lives.
Also, the ‘requests’ to families members made me laugh. Don’t forget to thank them for picking you up 😉
