Meet Glimpser Alison!

Hi everyone! My name is Alison, and I attend Amundsen High School. I’m super excited about this upcoming trip and the opportunity to immerse myself in a different culture and be able to learn not only about the culture but also uncover things about myself. Between being captain of the flag football team, playing basketball, being involved in a bunch of clubs that support various communities, and volunteering my time at the hospital, I’m always looking for ways to connect and help out. This opportunity to learn and make a difference in the DR feels like such an incredible adventure, and I’m really looking forward to it! I can’t wait to meet everyone and eat lots of amazing food!
