Hello fellow Glimpsers , my name is Cherish Lindsey and I am a junior at South Shore International. One of the easiest facts to remember about me is that my all time favorite color is green because, I wear green glasses. Some of my favorite hobbies include trying new foods , as well as cooking , hanging out with friends , shopping and word hunts. One thing I am most excited about on this trip is taking pictures of the beautiful scenery. My favorite thing about being from Chicago is being able to see the skyline and downtown area at night. I am excited to meet everyone and form new connections, I love to make jokes and have random conversations !

I just wanted to tell you how proud I am of you. Studying abroad takes courage, determination, and faith in yourself, and you’re doing something that many people only dream about.
I know being far from home isn’t always easy. I remember days when you miss family, friends, and the comfort of familiar surroundings. But remember that every challenge you face is helping you grow into an even stronger, wiser, and more confident person.
Take in every moment, learn as much as you can, meet new people, and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. These experiences will stay with you for the rest of your life. Even when things get difficult, remember why you started and how far you’ve already come.
No matter how far away you are, know that you have people back home who love you, support you, and believe in you. Keep pushing forward and make the most of this incredible opportunity.
