Hi everyone! I’m Mikaelyn, I’m 17, and I go to NHS in Massachusetts. I’m going to Costa Rica this summer!
I’ve never done anything like this so I’m excited and scared. Usually, I spend my time listening to music or watching movies and tv with my friends. I like shopping and getting food too, but I’ve been learning how to sew and cook recently so I spend less money doing that lol.
I like science and english a lot, and I’m really interested in naturalism and (wildlife) ecology! I love animals, especially my cats!

You’re in for a treat when it comes to wildlife in Costa Rica! Keep your eyes peeled because you might be able to spot a sloth in the trees. Also, so cool to hear you are into sewing – as you know, you will have the opportunity to present a “talent” when you are leader of the day, and if you know any sewing tricks, I bet that would be a fun one to share ?
