Goodbye Panama… with love from ch1D

Hi parents and friends!

We know you’re going to miss our nightly blogs, but as our trip comes to an end, you won’t have to miss us for much longer!

As we wrapped up our stay at Hotel Esperanza, we took some time for our final reflections on this once-in-a-lifetime experience and shared lots of love with one another. Although a few tears were shed, there were even more laughs, smiles, and hugs as we said goodbye to our time in Chitré.

Despite waking up so early, our trip to Panama City was anything but quiet! The bus was loud, lively, and full of energy. We arrived right where our journey began, at Hotel Ojos del Río, and shared our last dinner together as a GG family.

Looking back at these past 10 days, we accomplished so much. Not only did we plant around 2,400 trees, but we also had the opportunity to learn more about Panama, its people, and, along the way, ourselves. We hope our impact was as big as our smiles and, most importantly, that it will be truly sustainable and continue to grow for years to come.

We built such a beautiful community here in Panama, and we can’t wait to come back someday and see the changes that our hard work helped create.

This may be the end of our trip, but definitely not the end of the memories, friendships, and lessons we’re taking home with us. ❤️

Best regards,
Daniel, with the most honorable help from Abigayle
