Get to know me, Joseph Diaz

Salutations everyone, my name is Joseph (JD) . I’m currently reside in Contra Costa County, California, and I’m 17 years old. My family is from Mexico. I’ve traveled once in my life, so from this trip, I am deeply excited to go on this magnificent trip and spend time getting a new perspective of things and, of course, meeting other people, hopefully creating an everlasting friendship. Somethings about me is I enjoy listening music, playing sports (Soccer, Basketball, American Football), playing video games, and spending time with my loved ones. Fun fact about me: I’ve been running cross country since elementary when I was living in San Rafael (Marin County) and still thriving in this lovely sport. So partaking in Cross Country at my high school was for sure a way to still be embedded with the sport. Last year I became team captain for Cross Country. Which is an awesome milestone, and hopefully I get a new PR this upcoming season. Aside from this, I know allot of basketball facts which comes from me playing NBA 2k in my leisure time. But yea… I chose to participate in this opportunity because I slowly wanted to immerse myself in a different cultural environment and acknowledge Panama’s history. I am truly grateful for this. And I hope this goes well for everyone!!!
