Fun Dayyyy!!

Hi, it’s Natrai, Destiny and Ryan (back at it again), With another BANGERR! Today was fun day we woke up as early as a rooster and ate breakfast. Then we bought towels for the group because we needed it and some forgot it. Then we got on the roady road and headed to la playa called Uverito. On the way to the beach on the bus the speaker died we had to take matters into our own hands and create music with empty water jugs and it was very fun. We stayed at the beach for around 5 hours, had a great time, got to see the other Global Glimpse Group, and even had time to actually talk and play with them. Overall, we had fun eating at the restaurant there and had some greatttt food, so good!!

After we left Playa Uverito we headed back to the hotel and had some self-care time and went to get some ice cream and some Glimpsers got KFC and we were all eating together like a big family. After we had dinner, yes we ate again and this time it was something different and a little special… it was cheese burgers and papas fritas with a strawberry smoothie! It was very nice and different. We will all miss the Panamanian food we got every day and night. After dinner we had our nightly meeting and passed the torch to the next leaders of the day.

Hii its Natrai! Being a leader today was very interesting. I thought when choosing my day that this would probably be the chillest and easiest but it was not… trust me. It was such a big space and to keep tack of all those people but it was all worth it in my opinion. In the end I really loved today and I would do it again any day. Me and a few other Glimpses went on a walk with Mauricio and just explored the beach and took and nice long walk and got to see a whole different river that met with the sea and I found a lot of sea shells that I want to hopefully bring home with me. I’ll miss the memories and everything this program has had to offer these passed 9 days and the people it allowed me to create connections with. Bye guysss love yaaaa😜 😜.

HIIII GUYSSS it’s Destinyyy today was a very long day it was fun, lowkey I banged my knee yesterday and it was feeling fine until I started swimming so I had to get out a little earlier than I would’ve liked. Today I felt a little exhausted but happy because I got to spend my last weeks of summer in the pool with amazing new connections that I made here, I got vegetable pasta to eat and french fries and it was good. I loved that after we ate me and some people in the group went out to walk with Mauricio and we were just talking and talking and having fun and I really enjoyed that and the bus ride back was super tiring I fell asleep and lost track of time. To end with a last note being leader today was fun I think it was very stressful being leader it feels like a lot of responsibility but sometimes you just have to get things done. Today and this whole trip I learned a lot about myself and I enjoyed and felt very overstimulated but I’m glad its over and extremely grateful for the memories and connections. DESTINYYY OUTTT.

Hi it’s Ryan! Of all the memories good and bad, these past 9 days have been some of my fondest. I greatly appreciate this program and all the friends I have made during my time in Panama. I hope to keep these friendships and to use this experience to do more in the future. I know I had so much fun today, and I think I can speak for everyone that our project was a job well done. I also know that as our time in this program and in Panama is coming to an end it is both unfortunate and joyful. It’s sad that we have to return, but also needed as I know we are all tired and ready to get our phones back! Thanks for following along our amazing trip. Can’t wait to be back home; signing off, Ryan.
