Fun day Blog

Hey y’all it’s Chace and Yaretzi Day 9 LDD!! We were in charge of Fun Day. We went to Lago Dorado and had the best pool day and ate chicken nuggets. Our day started at 7:00am (our latest wake up call on the trip) in the morning we had fried dough with sausage and yuka with pineapple juice.

We made it to the pool around 9:50 and spent the next 3 hours swimming, biking, and eating. We took a tour of the sight and saw their many pools along with their shrimp farm. After the pool we had a fun bus ride full of singing and games. We then got to the hotel and got some free time. We spilt into two groups one going to a plaza and the other going to a Mercado. We were in the group that went to the Mercado and decided to play a joke on the rest of the group. The ten of us dressed up as different characters like Shrek (Donni), Farmer girl (Yaretzi), Supergirl (Ms. Kalena), and The Cat in the Hat (Chace). We then went down to dinner and surprised them. While at dinner we showed our appreciation to the hotel staff by offering them to eat with us and serve them food. Lastly, we had our night meeting which had an auction and lots of dancing. We are all very sad to leave soon and we will miss the group so much so Big Love to them and our family can’t wait to see you soon!!
